We use GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified post-consumer recycled polyester. The RPET yarn suppliers buy plastic bottles from landfill/rubbish sites locally. The bottles are shredded, cleaned, melted and spun into polyester yarn. This minimises our use of virgin, non-renewable resources. Recycling plastic bottles to polyester also uses less water and energy to process, than virgin polyester.
