Mantis X25 'Challenge'
Description
The Mantis X25 is our first ever 25 inch junior racket, crafted using the same high-quality materials as our professional range to deliver outstanding performance for young players. Designed to help children develop confidence, technique, and feel, it’s a junior frame built to support their future in tennis.
With performance identical across both models, the X25 is available in two distinct colour options, because we know looks matter to kids as much as playability. Each racket comes expertly strung & ready to play by our in-house stringer, Tom, ensuring consistent quality from the first hit.

Technology
THERMOCORE FUSION™
An advanced resin-infusion process designed to enhance structural uniformity and performance consistency throughout the racquet frame. By subjecting a proprietary resin system to extreme thermal conditions—surpassing 200°C—the resin is brought to a true fusion state during the layup phase of production.
This high-temperature activation enables carbon fibres and resin to bond with exceptional uniformity, significantly reducing microscopic voids and inconsistencies typically found in conventional racquet manufacturing. The result is a near-seamless composite structure.
Key Performance Benefits:
-
Frame-to-Frame Consistency
The ultra-even resin distribution leads to tighter production tolerances—meaning every racquet delivers reliably similar specs and feel. -
Enhanced Torsional Stability
With reduced internal variances, the frame responds with greater predictability, especially during off-centre impacts. -
Solid, Dampened Feel
ThermoCore Fusion™ minimizes unwanted vibration by producing a tighter matrix of carbon and resin—translating to a more muted, comfortable contact point. -
Improved Structural Integrity
A racquet crafted using ThermoCore Fusion™ is inherently more robust, with fewer internal stress points that could compromise durability over time. -
Consistency = Confidence
Whether in practice or under pressure, every swing benefits from a reassuringly uniform feel, empowering players with more control and comfort on every shot.
PRECISIONCRAFT™ CONSTRUCTION
Every Mantis racquet undergoes a meticulously controlled hand-crafted lay-up process, where precision and consistency are paramount. The carbon fibre sheets—engineered to strict specifications—are strategically aligned by hand to control stiffness, flex, and torsional stability in each frame. This artisan approach allows for exact fibre orientation, ensuring the racquet’s mechanical properties are precisely tailored to performance expectations. Unlike mass-automated production lines, the manual lay-up guarantees alignment integrity and minimises material distortion or fibre misplacement.
-
Multi-directional carbon fibre placement for optimal strength-to-weight ratio
-
Manual tension checks at critical stress zones (e.g., throat, hoop)
-
Each lay-up individually inspected for fibre integrity and uniformity
Following the structural assembly, each frame enters a refined finishing and cosmetic application phase, where attention to detail distinguishes Mantis racquets. Surface preparation is handled with extreme care to preserve aerodynamic shaping while ensuring flawless paint adherence. Finishing specialists apply cosmetics using custom templates and controlled layering techniques, delivering both performance coatings and aesthetic precision.
-
Ultra-fine sanding and smoothing for aerodynamic integrity
-
Controlled paint layering to maintain balance and feel
-
Cosmetic decals hand-aligned to within ±0.25mm tolerance
This hands-on approach at every stage—from core structure to final finish—ensures that every Mantis racquet upholds elite performance standards, with zero compromise on quality or individuality.

How to Choose Your Mantis Racket Grip Size

If you’re unsure, you can measure your grip size using a ruler or tape measure from the crease of your palm to the tip of your ring finger.
- Lay your hand flat with your fingers together and thumb relaxed.
- Line up a ruler with the bottom crease of your palm.
- Measure to the tip of your ring finger.
You can also check the grip size of your current racket by looking at the number on the bottom of the handle.
